Photo Day - May 18th @ Continental

On Saturday, May 18th, Mahwah Youth Softball will be holding its Annual Photo Day at Continental Soldiers Park.  Photos will be taken by Mahwah Imaging and support both a local business and our youth program.  Team schedules and order forms are available on the 2013 Photo Events page.  All rec players are asked to attend in uniform at their scheduled time in the interest of getting a complete team picture.  There are some very nice packages and incentives for teams and players. Any questions about picture day may be directed to Jim Clarke of Mahwah Imaging at jaclarke@optonline.net.  As always, a portion of the proceeds will go back into the softball program so your participation is truly appreciated.

New Softball Banner recognizing Mahwah Championships to be hung at Commodore Perry Field on 3/17 at 5pm

__Anthony Maio -- Forever in our hearts and prayers...you will be missed...

"...A candle has gone out and we are all deeply saddened...A wonderful, loving father and husband, Anthony touched the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing this kindhearted, gentle man. He was, and will forever be, a very special member of our community having coached so many of our children … always with a caring hand and a genuine zest for the accomplishments of our youth. I remember the last words Anthony and I exchanged just a couple of weeks ago following a sixth grade travel softball game in which he exclaimed “It’s all about the kids and having fun!” A tremendous perspective on life . . . a life so unjustly halted by tragedy.

Yes, a candle has gone out and we are all deeply saddened. Our thoughts, love, and prayers are with Carmela, Nicolette, Dominique, and Julianna - - now and always. God bless Anthony and his beautiful family." --- Jeff Mohre
